Each mix is unique and the generous blends boast an array of grains, superfoods, nuts and/or seeds to support consumer health. You won’t find any added salt, sugar, preservatives, or artificial nastiness. You will find everything naturally nourishing from maca to pineapple and puffed quinoa to classic apricot.
Alara was est. 1975 by Alex Smith, an activist for all things sustainable and organic! Alex started Alara with just £2 found on the street, and has since lead the company to many impressive ‘firsts’ including, 1st producer of Organic Certified Cereal, 1st in the UK registered with the Coeliac Society, 1stcompany to make a Fairtrade muesli and first manufacturer ever to be Zero Waste!
Our factory is located in the heart of London where we play an active part in a diverse and vibrant local community. On site our values remain clear; we have an orchard, vineyard, permaculture forest garden and community compost and gardening service.
