Urvashi is an experienced home cook and baker who appeared on series 2 of The Great British Bake Off last summer.
Urvashi is a busy mum with two daughters at primary school and a full time job in the City so is keen on fast but nutritious food. She firmly believes that everyone can create a great meal from store-cupboard basics and a weekly fruit and veg shop.
Having had a previous career as a florist, Urvashi has a love and passion for flowers and plants. For centuries, people have used ingredients from across the botanical spectrum and Urvashi uses those which are seasonal, interesting, and most importantly, tasty in her recipes.
Urvashi is also an enthusiastic food writer with articles and recipes published on various on and offline food publications.
